Battery Banq has capacity to manufacture and integrate circa 1 GWhrs of BESS per annum and has factories in Johannesburg and Richards Bay. They shareholders of Battery Banq  is a collaboration between Energy Banq, and energy optimisation specialist (www.energybanq.co.za) and TurnKey Modular Pty Ltd., a manufacturer of large scale modular engineered products (www.turnkey.africa). The venture delivers a high quality fully integrated BESS + SCADA systems, with all design and engineering being above to be done in-house and is aimed at solving the specific energy challenges for the long term, delivering a fit-for-purpose sustainable solution, instead of just dropping a box and hoping its works.

DECENTRALIZED ENERGY MANAGEMENT

The Battery Banq BESS allows the client to effectively store electricity during off- peak periods (grid-based system) and excess solar capacity (renewable-based system) to reduce overall energy cost.

The BESS can also be used to absorb load demand spikes and protect other generation technologies, like generators, from having to load match, since they will see a steady demand from the BESS.

Why Battery Banq?

Battery Banq delivers fully integrated BESS solutions, minimizing on-site work and reducing costs. Our systems are built offsite, with a focus on quality and cost efficiency, pre-tested, and delivered ready for seamless integration.

Battery Banq was born in recognition of the need to deliver to site fully functional, tested and commissioned electrical plants.

Our unique approach to the constructing and commissioning incorporates all the operational components off site, and hence minimizing on site requirements like EPC, onsite integration, commissioning and cost over runs (P&G’s), normally associated with this scale of infrastructure and contracting

MONITORING AND POWER MANAGEMENT

Our offering has enhanced monitoring and after sales service, to assist in energy management and optimisation of energy use and infrastructure. Efficient energy management requires management of renewable sources of energy, balanced with the traditional sources and deployed via a smart inverter with grid forming ability. Our BESS backed by a full-term 10- year SLA, aims to optimise the supply and demand side of energy infrastructure and the application at hand.
